For a small, luxurious wedding set within the breathtaking scenery of the West Coast of Scotland, Barcaldine Castle is the perfect venue for Scottish castle weddings.

We may not have an on-site Wedding Coordinator, but our small team are more than happy to help. We will recommend quality suppliers for your big day. Such as florists, hairdressers, make-up artists, photographers, and cake designers. Furthermore, all legal paperwork for the wedding is organised directly with our local registrar.

Our recommended chefs can offer you a fantastic wedding meal and/or buffet. Alternatively, you may decide to go to one of the many local restaurants we have to offer here in Oban.

Due to the nature of the B&B business, we require Exclusive Use for all weddings. This ensures your day runs smoothly and all of our attention is focused on making your day that extra little bit special.

We normally host our wedding ceremonies in the splendour of the Great Hall, with a large open fireplace and breathtaking views out across Loch Creran and up to Glencoe. Make no mistake, we guarantee you an especially romantic backdrop for your special day. If the weather permits, you may wish to have your ceremony out in the gardens, with the castle featuring as a glorious backdrop. All guests will also receive one of our mini hospitality hampers, a bathrobe, slippers, a hairdryer, and luxury toiletries.
