The Lochnell room is a new addition to our guest bedrooms. The newly exposed stonework and the Portland Stone fireplace give a focal point to the room. The 17th century Jacobean four poster double bed is complimented by other period furniture. This room shares the views to the north with the Caithness room, across Loch Creran.

The Lochnell Room has stunning views from the Castle Turret

The southeast turret leading off this room has a carved writing desk and mirror. The en-suite bathroom has a roll top bath and shower.

The Caithness Room, at the top of the castle, arguably boasts one of the best views to the northeast over Loch Creran and towards Glencoe. The Northwest corner of the room has one of the castle’s three turrets, now a small dressing area.

The French antique furniture in this room is complimented by the use of mohair and velvet fabrics dressing the king size bed. The bathroom has a roll top bath and shower.

The Breadalbane Room is our largest room featuring our recently acquired super-king-size four-poster bed. This bed was commissioned by Andrew Carnegie for Skibo Castle in 1898. The oak flooring compliments the dark oak furniture of the period.

The stunning views from this room are over Loch Creran to the Appin Hills and Glencoe in the distance. The room has a spacious bathroom with a roll-top bath and walk-in shower.

The Barcaldine room is a large comfortable room with antique mahogany furniture. The window faces across the garden to the south west gate, Lochan Dhub and the ancient scots pines beyond.

From this window, on a clear evening, you can enjoy the superb colours of sunset. The newly refurbished bathroom now benefits from a roll top bath and shower.

The Argyll room has a double aspect with views across the garden to the south-west gate, Lochan Dhub and the ancient Scots pines beyond. The room has ornate white furniture and has an en-suite toilet and shower room.

The Airds room can be set as a twin or as a super king sized double. Like the Argyll room, it has an en-suite toilet and walk-in shower but the Airds room also incorporates a turreted dressing area as it is on the top floor.

The bedroom window has a view across the gardens to the west and the mountains in the distance, and the turret windows give views to the south-west gate and Loch Dhub.
